Humble Grape raises £650k for further expansion

Humble Grape, the independent wine bar brand, has raised £650k for further expansion. The company currently run four wine bars in Battersea, Fleet Street, Islington and Liverpool Street, with a planned fifth large flagship venue in Canary Wharf.  The company have plans to open two new venues in 2020 and again in 2021.  Humble Grape import wines directly from small, family-run producers across 12 counties, who follow organic, biodynamic or sustainable principles.  They currently import over 300 artisan wines which they sell at their venues and through their online Wine Shop.  They also run a Wine Club and a Wine School. The company closed the raise on crowdfunding platform Seedrs.
